Refer to NSD

A referral for a home sleep test can be obtained through your local GP.

Home sleep tests can be arranged through an NSD testing location near you. The test is reasonably straightforward. You will be set up with the device in the late afternoon and are required to wear it throughout the night. In the morning, the device is returned to the testing location.

The results are then analysed and reviewed by a qualified sleep scientist and sleep physician who will provide diagnosis and treatment recommendations.

The sleep report is sent to the referring doctor/specialist, the patient and the location where the test was conducted, normally within 10 working days.
